SECURE SYSTEMS (CEO Dong-Sik Son) announced that it participated in the world's largest cyber defense exercise, 'Locked Shields 2025', organized by the NATO Cooperative Cyber Defence Centre of Excellence (CCDCOE), from June 5th to 9th.
'Locked Shields' is a live cyberattack response exercise led by the CCDCOE under NATO since 2010. This year, it brought together over 4,000 cybersecurity experts from 39 countries. Korea participated with a record-breaking scale of 170 people from 47 public, private, and military organizations. SECURE SYSTEMS, together with its parent company Hunesion, joined the Korea-Canada joint blue team (defending team).
SECURE SYSTEMS took part in this exercise as part of the 'Cyber Partners', a public-private cooperation-based cyber security system. Its products and technologies have been validated in the field during the international cyber defense drill, heightening expectations for future entry into the global security market.
In this drill, SECURE SYSTEMS provided its AI-based integrated security operations automation solution, Secure Orchestra V3.0 (SOAR), implementing advanced Security Operations Center (SOC) functions, including real-time detection of multiple cyber threats, automated response scenario execution, and event correlation analysis.
By utilizing the AI-based security analysis models built into Secure Orchestra, including the web attack analysis modeler R1, the malware in-depth analysis modeler R2, and the network packet behavior-based analysis modeler R3, the teams conducted playbook-based automated analysis and response for various threat scenarios. Thanks to this, the participating teams rapidly and effectively established defensive systems against complex cyberattack scenarios and demonstrated next-generation security operation excellence powered by AI in a real-world environment.
SECURE SYSTEMS played a key role within the coalition team with its own intrusion detection and response technology, malware analysis capabilities, and digital forensic expertise, accumulating experience in responding to various cyber threats in an environment mirroring real-world situations.
Dong-Sik Son, CEO of SECURE SYSTEMS, stated, “Secure Orchestra is more than just a security solution—it’s a next-generation security platform equipped with integrated and automated response systems. Through this drill, we have internationally proven our product excellence, and we will continue to respond proactively to global cyber threats through ongoing technological innovation.”
