[IT Daily] Hunesion (CEO: Jeong Dong-seop) announced that on the 13th, it exchanged a memorandum of understanding (MOU) for cooperation on the supply of 'Security Orchestration, Automation and Response (SOAR)' with local cybersecurity specialist company SCS (CEO: Ngo Tuan An) in Hanoi, Vietnam.
This MOU aims to promote the supply of AI-based SOAR to the Vietnamese government, public institutions, and companies. Hunesion will act as the supplier of the SOAR platform 'Secure Orchestra', developed by its subsidiary SECURE SYSTEMS, and collaborate with SCS across sales cooperation, technical review, and all matters necessary for signing future supply contracts.
SCS (Smart Cyber Security Joint Stock Company) is a Vietnamese cybersecurity specialist that is expanding its presence in information protection, cloud, big data, IoT, and AI with its key brand 'SafeGate'. The company has obtained the 'Golden Key' certification from VNISA (Vietnam Information Security Association).
SCS CEO Ngo Tuan An stated, “This MOU is expected to enhance the cybersecurity capabilities of both companies, create synergy, and be an opportunity for developing a global cooperation framework.”
Hunesion CEO Jeong Dong-seop said, “SCS has proven its capabilities with the SafeGate solution introduced to key infrastructure in Vietnam. Through collaboration with SCS, which boasts an excellent network in the local market, we plan to jointly target various markets and further expand our presence.”
Meanwhile, demand in Vietnam is rapidly growing due to increased government-led security investment and stricter cybersecurity laws. Recently, as economic cooperation between Korea and Vietnam has advanced to focus on future industries, a total of 12 MOUs related to digital fields such as AI, telecommunications, and cybersecurity were signed at the Korea-Vietnam summit.
